OTC benzoyl peroxide: The implant is having androgenic ( like male hormone) effects. You should have it removed. Some birth control makes acne better, some make it worse. Spironolactone, probably at 100mg daily is an anti androgen which is your best hope to clear your face. It is not a hormone, not expensive ($16 for 3 months), safe. Not to be used if pregnant or in kidney failure.
