What does it mean when your cervix is open and you're not pregnant?

Open cervix: An open cervix indicates that the "small circle" inside the center of the cervix is "open".(endocervical canal). This is common is women who have had multiple pregnancies with vaginal deliveries. The only adverse affect is that bacteria can pass more easily into the intra uterine space, and if pregnant the pregnancy can be easily lost.

Normal: The cervix is open when a woman of child bearing age is able to get pregnant. The cervix typically closes when the woman is pregnant to keep the products of conception in the uterus.
