It should be closed: At 5-6 weeks, the cervix should be closed.

Cervix: The cervix is closed by a biochemical process, not an anatomic process. A probe can be passed though the cervix when you are pregnant. The cervix is never really closed during pregnancy and substances in the vagina have been shown to also be in the uterus.
