I have taken the first dose of vaccine of hepatitis b from 8 month but i did not take the second dose ,,now what can i do ,can i take second dose ?

Yes: Get the second dose ASAP. You can then get the third dose 2 months after that. You do not need to start the series over.

Hepatitis B vaccine: The vaccination schedule most often used for adults and children has been three intramuscular injections, the second and third administered 1 and 6 months after the first. Recombivax HB® has been approved as a two dose schedule for aged 11-15 years. Twinrix® has also been approved as a four dose accelerated schedule. Go and finish your immunization.

Yes: You do not have to start the series over. If you are getting the 3 shot series, there needs to be at least 4 months between dose #1 and dose #3.

Yes: The second dose of Hep B is recommended after 1-2 months,and the third and final dose in another 4 months (to finish the entire series in ~ 6 months) but can be given later without need for starting over. The intervals between vaccine doses is mainly to ensure minimum interval, meaning that if you get the subsequent dose earlier than recommended, you need to repeat it for proper protection.
