See your doctor: You need a good history and physical to assess possible causes of your back pain, test your leg reflexes, etc. Recurrent pain may need further evaluation with an MRI.

PT then pilates: Typically back pain that worsens with movement in a young person is consistent with muscle spasm or lumbar strain. However,it's still appropriate to have a consultation with a PMR or sports medicine doctor and they will complete a physical examination of your spine. In addition they will consider the possibility of other diagnoses that could be causing your stiffnes.if it is spine then PT & Pilates
