Need Clarification: Fatty kidney or fatty liver? Fatty liver is very common and is due to being overweight, or drinking too much alcohol, can end up in liver failure. There is no medical term such as "fatty kidney". Maybe your doctor tried to put some other issues in lay term. Please talk to your doctor.
