Folliculitis: Go and see your doctor you need to get on some antibiotics for infected hair follicles. Quit shaving or plucking for now until the infection goes away. I know the first thing you are thinking is gross I can't do that. Just wear clothes for now that cover up your armpits. Throw away the razor you have been using and get a new one, don't share it with anyone. Good luck!

Let it rest: 1. let them heal. maybe go awhile without shaving and using deodorant (at least use something less irritating). 2. apply warm compresses to area 3. if it doesnt clear up fast then you might have folliculitis and you should see your PCP or derm. 4. change products for shaving and sweat control 5. wear tops that won't create friction 6. stop shaving for a bit. then use new razor.

I agree w/ Dr. Bayle: If your problem persists after you completely try his recommendations, you may have a condition called hidradenitis suppurativa. Then you will need to see a dermatologist or a general surgeon to have it treated.
