HCG testing : After conception the fertilized egg travels for about 5 days, down the fallopian tubes, before implanting in the uterus.During this time tests will be negative .After implantation begins, at about 10 days post conception( fertilization) urine tests start turning positive.Serum blood test may be positive 1-3 days before a urine test. Good luck

About 2 weeks: In a person with very predictable, regular periods and a 28 day cycle: if you count from the first day of the last period- ovulation occurs on day 10, 11 or 12. Conception can therefore occur on day 10-14. The fertilized egg implants in the uterus a few days later. I know of examples where a urine pregnancy test was positive on day 24. Blood tests can be positive a few days before the urine test.

It varies: It varies, according to the brand. Some brands are more sensitive than others and give earlier results. To be "safe", it's best to wait at least two weeks after conception.

Pregnancy test : Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period. If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days. If you were pregnant the hormone level would rise enough for detection.

After missed period.: If your period is even one day late, you can expect 90% sensitivity of the urine pregnancy test in diagnosing an early pregnancy. That goes up to 99-100% a week later. Take Folic Acid 1-5 mg daily and best of luck!
