Either: It usually makes most sense to see your primary care doctor - but if you do not have a doctor then either a family doctor, Ob/Gyn, or a urologist would be reasonable choices for pain in the bladder.

Primary care: It is often best to start with your primary care physician and they will decide if your issue needs a specialist's opinion as well. Take care.

Start with Primary: All specialismts appreciate a full history & physical & basic bloodwork when consulted. Sometimes, say if your symptoms are due to a simple bladder infection, your primary doc can manage it. Some primary care docs do gyn exams too and diagnose gyn infections. So that is a good place to start. Trust me, you will be referred if necessary (99% of the time). Hope it is something easy to treat!
