Stent: the string sometimes can disappear into the urethra. The stent rarely can migrate into the ureter. Usually this will change and increase the pain level. Just follow up with your urologist and he or she can remove the stent when it is time or obtain an xray to see the position of the stent

Here are some ...: Don't worry about it as long as being comfortable in peeing. Meanwhile, watch the opening of your penis at each peeing so to see if the string flows out with urine, but don't pull it out yet until the time as instructed by your uro-Doc. If unsure, see Doc on or after the date of catheter pulling. If unable to see it at peeing, take a KUB (abdominal x-ray to cover kidneys, ureters, & bladder to see
