Safe on Depo: No, you don't have any extra risk of getting pregnant. You can have sex as many times per day as you want and you'll still be protected. Depo-Provera has an estimated typical use first-year failure rate of 0.3%. So it is 99.7% effective. Which is as good or better than any other contraceptive. Small chance, but...: The amount of times you are having sex does not determine whether or not you become pregnant.. If you are on Depo-Provera and it is working as it should then you should not become pregnant. Most women on Depo-Provera stop having menstrual cycles. This means that there is no ovulation and you can only become pregnant around the time of ovulation.
