See doctor: Usually when lymph nodes swell and are tender there is an infection that needs to be treated. See a doctor for exam and proper treatment.

See your doctor: Swelling of the axillary (arm pit), lymph nodes could signify an infection either in the arm pits themselves or the surrounding areas. I see you are taking glucophage, (metformin) diabetes can make you more susceptible to infection. I suggest you see your doctor.
