Side effects?: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) is supposed to last in your system for about 12 hours. Of course after this period ends,it may take a little longer for you to fall asleep. You may feel a little more tired in the beginning. Try to eliminate any electronic devices from your room and create a very "boring" and relaxing environment. If you experience headaches and are still wide awake you should talk with your doctor.

Taken too late: Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has an active duration of 12 to 15 hours. You took it too late in the afternoon. If you are going to take a medication that late, consider the shorter acting Adderall tablets, which have an action lasting 4-6 hours.
