A member asked:

I have three positive first response pregnancy tests with morning sickness two weeks ago but not since then, are the positive tests true positives?

Probably yes: A positive pregnancy test has a higher predictive value than a negative one, so it is more likely significant if 3 were positive. But falling HCG levels from a previous positive need to be followed up on. A low hCG level could indicate: Miscalculation of pregnancy dating; Possible miscarriage or blighted ovum; Ectopic pregnancy http://americanpregnancy.org/duringpregnancy/hcglevels.html
