Unrelated: Hi. Hyperparathyroidism (primary or secondary) or the hyperparathyroidism of PHP 1b is completely unrelated to hyperthyroidism. Psuedohypoparathyroidism type 1b is rare. I assume your diagnosis has been confirmed by a competent endocrinologist. Graves' is very easy to test for. Bear in mind, not one symptom associated with Graves' is specific for Graves'! Good luck!

UNLIKELY: You do not diagnose Graves Disease by having abnormal T3 (liothyronine) level You need to have a full thyroid profile including TSH,T4,T3 (liothyronine) (liothyronine) AND FREE T4 You will have low TSH and High T4/Fee T4 and T3 (liothyronine) Another test which is sometimes done is Thyroid Stimulatin Antibody Test (TSI) IF TSH,T4 T3 (liothyronine) LEVELS are equivocal and you have symptoms and signs of Graves Disease as it is an an Auto Immune Disease
