Still a hernia: from what you described i still think you have a hernia ultrasound is not made to rule out hernia hernia best evaluated by physical examination the defect or the rupture might be too small to be detected use heat pad take ibuprofen if you noticed a bulge or pain increased see the doctor again for reevaluation
