Steps of follow up: If you are sexually active, start with a pregnancy test . This may be menstrual spotting depending on your cycle. The brown discharge should be evaluated. A pelvic exam , office appt recommended. The discharge may be brown in color from residual blood in the vagina related to recent spotting. Further veal recommended.
