Dark brown discharge and light, inconsistent bleeding. not like a normal period at all, no cramps. negative pregnancy test. lasting more than a week. sometimes appears to have black specks, maybe clots, in the blood. please help.

Irregular periods: If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections & hormonal changes can cause spotting. Brown discharge is usually old blood. there are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.
