A member asked:

They hurt, is that a symptom of sunburn, or is it something else like sunstroke?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What hurts?: Not quite sure what is hurting from your question. However, if you are saying your skin hurts and you think you have a sunburn then, yes, this is certainly a symptom of sunburn. Sunstroke is a much more severe, life-threatening condition. In this condition your body has basically lost it's ability to regulate temperature. Convulsions, coma and death can all be an end result of sunstroke.
