OPKs: OPKs are fairly accurate. The only way to know for sure is via ultrasound or laparoscopy showing signs of ovulation. Of course the best way is that you concieve. OPKs measure urinary leutinizing hormone and a positive means a high likelihood of ovulation. Cervical mucus while usually very thin at ovulation is affected by other factor, so is less accurate.

Ovulation test: The ovulation predictor test is the moser reliable for detecting ovulation. Some fertility problems can be caused by problems with cervical mucous. If you ovulate and still have problems conceiving, intrauterine insemination with your partners sperm could be the solution.
