Long Time: Depo can take a long time to get out of your body and until it does bleeding can be sporadic and abnormal. Most women need about 9 months for it to be out but its effects can last up to 2 years. Some basic lab tests and ultrasounds can let you know what your body is actually doing. Then you might be able to figure out what pills might help you
