Sneezing: You are basically right. Sneezing is our bodies way of getting rid of irritants. So when you squeeze on your nose it sets off the bodies response to an irritant and you sneeze. Some people have this same response when they go out into bright sunlight. Nothing to worry about.

Nose: sounds like you may have an allergy. you might see an allergist to find out. you could try an antihistamine. if its not bad you could of course ignore it
