Be aware: That many, possibly more than half, of patients with cardiac syndrome x have atypical chest pain that may not be exertional or related to exercise. Unfortunately there are many theories of what causes the chest pain in cardiac syndrome x but it's not exactly known. Hopefully you are working with your cardiologist to find a regimen that keeps you as chest pain free as possible. Best of luck
