Anytime: It is safe to take probiotics at any time while taking antibiotics as there is some evidence it may help with antibiotic associated diarrhea. Most throat infections should not be treated with antibiotics unless your strep was positive. I would check with your doctor as an antibiotic is more likely to just cause a yeast infection...

Now.: You can take the probiotics now. Take them in-between your antibiotic doses. Continue the probiotics ofter you are finish with the course of antibiotics.
