Oral contraceptives: Althea is a low dose contraceptive pill. It may take 3 cycles of pills for your body to get used to it, be patient. Do not skip any pills as you run the risk of becoming pregnant. Take as prescribed. After 3 months, see your doctor if you are still having a problem.
