Hard to say w/o exam: It's hard to say what is going on without doing an exam, so you should see your doctor in the clinic. I doubt that this is an emergency, as you are able to move your arms and there is no swelling in your hands, numbness, or loss of sensation. You could have arthritis, or a musculoskeletal injury (rotator cuff muscle / tendon strain) from heavy lifting. Brachial plexus nerve injury is less likely.
