Can be: long term use of the pill can suppress the ovulation cycle for months after stopping the pill. you may need some testing and possible jump starting ovulation

Likely normal: Infertility evaluations usually require that you have been trying for at least 12 months. If you where on injection birth control (depo-provera) then you may be required to wait even longer. Patches, pills and the ring do not affect future fertility. Sometimes: it can take up to a year to get fertility back . so be patient. after 1 year you need to seek help if still unable to conceive.
