No discomfort: I'm not sure if you are talking about a Gastrointestinal Endoscopy or not. This is a procedure that a doctor can look at your digestive tract. It is usually done under conscious sedation. This is where you are semi-awake and usually able to respond to commands, but do not remember the procedure. There can be some mild bloating and gas afterwords which can result in some mild discomfort.
