OTC: medication- I usually suggest either Tyklenol or Advil/Aleve if you are not allergic to these products-the achy sensation is usually a sign of something else going on, so see your physician if not improved within 3 days.

Supportive Care: Push fluids. Rest. Take OTC pain relievers such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Did I mention push fluids and rest? If other symptoms develop, or no improvement, then give your healthcare provider a call for a checkup.
