A member asked:

Can someone tell me the early symptoms of a kidney cancer?

Blood in urine: There are no good early symptoms, other than small quantities of blood in urine that may require microscopic examination of urine. Other symptoms may be flank discomfort, ruddiness of coomplexion, weakness and renal colic if there are blood cloots due to frank bleeding.

Usually none: Early kidney cancer is usually asymptomatic and in this day an age it is found incidentally. Over 30 years ago the usual presentation was abdominal mass with flank pain and blood in the urine known as the classic triad. This is only seen now rarely and places of low socioeconomic status and lack of healthcare access (even in usa).
