It depends: If your IUD was a hormonal based IUD (e.g. Mirena), you will go through some changes post removal due to withdrawal of hormone. Post removal irregularities is not uncommon even for non-hormonal based IUD (e.g. copper). Your course seems expected. Continue to monitor.
