No ice: Try Benzoyl Peroxide wash sold over the counter. There are also devices sold at drug stores to remove blackheads safely with minimal trauma to the skin. Generally best to not overly scrub or pick at them as this produces scars. Unfortunately, this is part of the changing hormones of the teen years, but it gets better with time.
