May be passing stone: If a stone is going down the ureter (the tube between the kidney and the bladder), you may have pain as the ureter is distended. You need to see your urologist. You may also want to see a nephrologist or go to a stone clinic at a regional medical center to define the type of stone formation and find treatment to decrease the frequency of stone formation
