Double check: Dermatix is a silicone gel that comes in a topical gel, clear sheets and fabric. It is used topically, not internally. While I suspect that it may be ok, I could not find any information specifically saying it is safe in pregnancy, so please call your obstetrician's office to double check the safety. Don't use it until you've cleared it with your OB. You can't be too careful in pregnancy!

Topical silicone: Dermatix gel is a topical silicone agent for preventing scars.A review of the material data safety sheets for the listed ingredients does not reveal any substantial risks. It is a good idea for any woman pregnant or considering pregnancy to read the entire label of any OTC medicine, even topical, for warnings. If any questions, contacting the manufacturer is the best way to get a definitive answer.
