Sometimes: Metformin can help for some causes of anovulation such as Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or diabetes. It won't help in other causes such as having low thyroid hormone. Best to follow your Doc's advice on this one! Best wishes!

Metformin & Ovulate: Hi, it is possible that the treatment with Metformin alone fails, in that case Clomiphene can be added to Metformin.
