Basically: Most labs have 5000 as lower limit, but if no symptoms and no additional abnormalities in the blood work, then it is likely insignificant. at worst, repeat blood work in a week to 3 (depending on circumstances) should put the matter to rest or suggest additional testing

Be sure of reading,,: This depends on what the reading is. A normal range for WBC is something like 3.5-11.0*10^9/L. It's usually reported as 3500-11000*10^6/L. So if your value is 4.1K or 4100 it's likely OK, but if it's 41000, it'd be smart to see your doctor and discuss. So make sure of the value. Best of luck.
