Depends on severity: If severe, call the doctor - probably OB would be best. Appendicitis starts around the belly butoon, and migrates to the right lower abdomen, becoming worse with movement. That refers tio pain however. A "poking" sensation is not specific for anything. Hope this helps!

Need more info: Appendix symptoms usually on the Right. Needs medical eval by OB-Gyne. If worsens seek ER care.
