Shunt revision?: Of course no one wants you to suffer, but it will be troubling to repair a shunt that appears to be working. Are you sure the shunt is the cause of the problem? Normally a shunt is surgically revised if it is malfunctioning. CT scans and xrays are used to check the placement of the apparatus and if there is fluid build up. A check up soon is a good idea. I agree with your neurologist so far.
