A member asked:

At what age does the symptoms of color blindness get found?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

School age: Most color deficiency of the more severe type is recognized in art activities in elementary school when inappropriate color matches are made. Milder forms of color deficiency are frequently not noticed until adulthood and in some cases not at all as the recognition failure can be very subtle with little practical import.
