A member asked:

Joint pain headaches always tired loss of appetite what's wrong with me? my mom wants to get me tested for meningitis is this a possibility?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Very unlikely: Only rare causes of meningitis cause the milder symptoms you have. Vast majority of cases cause severe headache and fever (the kind of headache that sends you to the ER). There is usually vomiting. There are many things that could cause your symptoms, and many causes are not serious. See a doctor for an evaluation, but a spinal tap is very unlikely.
