I started 2 week liquid diet for gastric sleeve today. others who have had this done had only one week or a few days of liquid. why is every doc diff?

Gastric sleeve: Your doctor is being cautious. Your doctor does not want your surgical area to over-stretch from food or from rapid ingestion. If you overstretch too soon, then the surgical area may separate. The caution is good.
