Heart: I am not sure why you would think this would be a heart issue. The right upper back would be a very peculiar referral pattern for cardiac disease. Moreover it would be quite unusual for someone your age to have heart disease but if you have trouble with exercise or ever pass out with activity your heart should be checked promptly. Right upper back pain more likely related to your lungs or muscles

Not likely: This sounds more like a muscle, ligament or bone issue. Not typical for a heart or blood vessel (aorta) problem. Maybe a nerve or spine problem but unlikely. When you say "at times" do you mean suddenly while you're sitting down or in relation to some activity? Do you feel it when you raise your arm or bend in a certain position? See your doctor who can hopefully get you some relief!
