Unlikely: that the fever is related by the wasp sting. More like coincidental and he is coming down with something else.

Call MD or 911: If he has difficulty breathing or facial swelling, call 911. Otherwise I'd call his pediatrician for advise. Acute reactions to wasp stings isn't something I'd feel comfortable advising you about on HealthTap via typing back and forth.
