Several reasons: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, but increasing abdominal pressure will, of course, increase the reflux if food is there. Shouting increases reflux. Alternatively, shouting stresses the voice box, and if it is already irritated from the reflux it will get more irritated by the shouting added to reflux.

Abdominal pressure: When you shout, cough or sneeze it increases the pressure in your abdomen and can push stomach acid up into your esophagus and cause more burning.
