I had cellulitis a month ago and now there remains a red mark that resembles a scar where the mass was. should i get this treated?

No: The red spot is probably the remnants of an abscess at the center of the cellulitis. Leave it alone. It should disappear with minimal residual "scar". Occasionally the abscess can reform, or a "satellite" abscess and cellulitis can occur nearby, in which case you should seek treatment again.
