How Ortho works: In order to move teeth, bone is temporarily lost on one side in order to move it into a new position. This creates some temporary minor mobility (looseness). After the tooth moves into the correct position, the bone reforms making the tooth tight again. Discuss this issue with your Orthodontist just to make sure there is no other problem that needs attention.

Control: To straighten teeth you need enough room and you need to gently guide teeth into alignment. To straighten 1 tooth means moving other teeth to make room. Have Orthodontist check appliance and progress. You will need long-term retention after correction is completed.
