Pregnant?: If it has been more than two years since you started your period and you are three days late, you may want to get a home pregnancy test. Alternatively, see your doctor who can order a serum hCG.

Yes,but: After a year or so most of the anovulatory cycles are gone and the body gets down to a dependable pattern.However, an occasional anovulatory cycle can occur. If you have been sexually active and pregnancy is even a remote possibility, testing may show up positive at this point.
