Need to find cause: Fatty infiltration of the liver is usually a biopsy finding. It can be associated with alcoholic live disease, but can also be due to a number of medical causes as well as being a complication of several medicines. By itself, the term means that you need to be evaluated by your physician, who will need to do appropriate tests to clarify the issue for you.
