IBS: Hi, it's not necessary to take PPI or h2 blocker for IBS but if those help with your symptoms then it's ok to take them under direction of your doctor. Good luck.

Not Really: You don't need to take PPI's or H2 blockers, but if part of your symptoms includes indigestion or Acid Reflux then it might help. You should try taking a good probiotic and you might consider going dairy free for a few weeks to see if some of your symptoms are lactose intolerance.
