Acne or folliculitis: It is not unusual to get acne pimples on chest and upper back, but small pimples on thighs and other areas are infections in the hair follicles, and if they are large, a boil or abscess. Sweating and friction are frequent causes, so antibacterial soaps and loose clothing and powders that keep skin dry may help. If large and frequent, I suggest seeing a doctor to check culture and Rx.
